My birthday cake. My sister has emerged somewhat as a mad genius when it comes to makign fondant decorations for cakes. Her other creations comprise of naughty versions of Bob the Builder and Santa Claus in bed with Rudolf for her gay friends

Took this during a kite festival in Bali. Some Russian magazine ended up using it after they saw it in my Flickr account. Don't know what was said in the accompanying story because it was all in Russian.

Taken while on an office outing to Losari

We were staying in a friend's apartment just south of the Swan River in Perth. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked across to the city. At that moment it was very still - there was no wind, the river was glassy. I took this photo but within minutes the wind and river current was back.

Saw this guy punching buttons manually on a side street near the Glodok Market in 2006. I went there again this year and he was still there, punching those buttons, a little older but still his jolly self

My Dad married late in life so I never remembered him at the prime of his life. I seemed to have followed his example, except that I don't have any photos of such a physique to hand down to my son. Time to hit the gym!
